Before your first class/session
Feel free to give us a call or shoot us an email if you have any questions or concerns about your body, our services, or what to schedule. We are here to make this experience run smoothly even before you come to the studio. Please book your class or session in advance, either online through Mindbody or by calling or emailing the studio directly. Arrive at the studio 15 minutes before your first class or session to ensure enough time to fill out any necessary paperwork and to discuss any questions you may have with your instructor.
What to wear
Comfortable and stretchy workout clothes allow the most freedom of movement, as well as make it easy for the instructor to check body alignment and movement patterns. Socks are optional, but if you choose to wear socks we suggest they have grips. Don’t worry if you don’t have grip socks because we have them for sale at the studio!
Bookings and waitlist
You can either book online through our website or on the Mindbody App. If you prefer, feel free to give us a call or send us an email to set up your class or appointment. Walk-ins are welcome but we cannot guarantee a spot. If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. When a spot becomes available you will be either automatically added to the class roster (if it’s greater than 12 hours before class) or called and offered a spot (if it’s less than 12 hours before class). If you have any questions about scheduling or waitlist, please do not hesitate to give us a call – we’re here to help!
Late cancellations and no-shows
When you no-show or late cancel for a session, you are taking the spot of another client. You can freely cancel your class up to 12 hours before without penalty, but if you fail to do so you will be charged for your class. For private and semi private Pilates sessions we require a 24 hour cancellation. We understand that life happens from time to time, so if there is an emergency please give us a call and we’ll be happy to work with you.
How often to come
We recommend coming 2-3 times per week to ensure the maximum benefit from your Pilates practice. As always, we encourage you to listen to your body and make adjustments to your routine as needed. In the wise words of Joseph Pilates: “In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 you’ll see the difference, and in 30 you’ll have a brand new body.”
